What is Qapsule? Established in 2022, Qapsule is the first multimedia, undergraduate academic journal for the Health Sciences at Queen's Univeristy!

How can I publish in Qapsule? Articles may be submitted any time up to our deadline in mid-March. Received articles undergo double-blind peer review by members of the Qapsule Editorial board. Articles are returned with either acceptance or rejection justified by peer review and editor commentary, and authors are to make revisions accordingly. Final proofs are presented to authors just prior to publication.

When is the deadline to submit for the 2023 issue? The early-bird deadline for submission is February 26th. Individuals who submit before this date will be entered into a raffle for prizes including a full MCAT course (valued at $4000), gift cards, etc. This deadline is subject to change without notice.

How often is it published? Qapsule is published once a year. Our first issue of 2023 is in the works! Be sure to follow our instagram @queensqapsule for more details regarding deadlines and exact raffle prizes.

What kind of articles do you accept? We accept a wide variety of submissions, including abstracts, original undergraduate research which presents novel findings, interviews with experrts, articles about new research, best practices, and trends in the field.
